毛糸のティータイム―藤田智子のニットルーム

とある図書館のおはなしコーナーに編んで作ったドーナツやプリンがあって
その可愛らしさに一目惚れしてしまいました。
作り方が知りたくて知りたくて，ようやく見つけたのがこちらの本です。

内容は期待以上でした。
ケーキに果物，たいやきや目玉焼きまで…
毛糸製なので食べ物としてのリアルさには限界があるはずなのに
どれもこれもが本当においしそう。
中でも半熟卵や半分に切ったイチゴのそれらしさは特筆ものです。
実際に食べ物を見て触れて，とことん研究しないとこの感じは出せない！
作者さんの食べ物と毛糸への愛が感じられます。

編み方も分かりやすく書いてありますので初心者でも分かりやすいですし，
使っている糸もメジャーなものばかりで入手しやすいです（これ結構重要）。
さらには作者さんのサイトで本と一緒にキットも販売している親切設計！
見て，作って，使って，贈って…と一粒で何度も美味しい本です。

作ってみたいと思うのが、特になかった。
ケーキや、たい焼きや、果物も編んで作ることが出来るんだというのは、楽しいと感じた。

私には、そういう１冊でした。

This is a crochet book...i was a little bit afraid when i opened the book and knew that it's a crochet not knitting...i have little experience with crochet...i encouraged myself to read the illustrated pattern and tried it...i found it's very-very easy pattern...i can guess what the illustrated pattern wants eventhough it's in japanese...if you have crochet symbols list, it will help you even more...but i think the patterns all are easy to follow...not that hard...believe me...i am the unexperienced crocheter who's saying this to you now...

This book contains: small drawstring bag, hanger, tea pot cover, etc...all in cake and fruit stye with beautiful and inspiring colors...

i've tried the small drawstring bag...i did it with still messy but it's quite cool...it's not the book...it's me who still have to learn a lot about crochet...it's very tiny bag...i think i'm going to make 1 more, bigger...
i also did the 3D strawberry, the orange...they are very easy to make and very beautiful...never thought i can make such bag, fruit from japanese book...

i wonder why not one of owners/reviewers here gives their book's picture...this book is really great!...i think everyone should spread it out...i've never seen western book like this before...briliant ideas and result with easy techniques...isn't that what we need????...

色々な、編み物の本はあるけれど、食べ物をモチーフにした小物や雑貨の編み方がのっているのは、これだけだと思います。
飾るだけでなく、使える！というところも魅力の一つ。
編み方も丁寧な解説なので、やってみよう！という気持ちにさせます。
リンゴのポーチがとっても魅力的です。

藤田智子さんのＨＰ「tmkニットルーム」には、本に載っている作品のキットも売っているので、そっちもおすすめです。

本屋で釘付けになりました。

ケーキや果物がどれもよく特徴を捉えて編みぐるみされており、
「飾り物に良いわねえ〜、話のネタに。。。」
と思って良く見ると、ティッシュカバーやティーカバー、小銭入れなど、
実用的な小物ばかり・・・！

特に一目ぼれしたのは「たい焼き」の携帯ケース。
本当に良く似てます。いい味出してます。
作者の藤田さんはこれを完成させるために「何度も試食した」という苦労話も
添えられていて、納得。

作り方はきちんと整理されているので、
「今まで細編みの円形が１０段行かずに挫折していた私」にも解りやすく、
無事に「壁？」を乗り越えることが出来ました。

価格の割りに作品数は少なめですが、全部作りたくなるものばかりだし、
他には絶対に載っていないから、購入して正解でした。

一番初めにチャレンジしたのは・・・もちろん「たい焼き」です！
